DISCOVER PARADISE is an entertainment and lifestyle magazine which has the vision of promoting the beauty of the Philippines, its people, and its culture.

We aim to achieve this goal by covering stories on subjects ranging from government officials, to show business and sports personalities, to fashion and beauty trends, to dining places and travel destinations, technology, and other human-interest topics that reflect Filipino values and tradition. With this endeavour, Discover Paradise intends to help the country reinforce its tourism industry.

Discover Paradise is published monthly and distributed all over Japan, with a readership of 50,000 and growing. Our readers comprise mostly of Filipino immigrants and overseas workers, some English-speaking Japanese and other nationalities working and/or staying in Japan

Discover Paradise's first issue came out in May 2004 under the management of Pidrocom.Japan, a publishing arm of Pidro Communications, which is a pioneer in the field of Public Imaging Technology. PidroCom was behind the successes of the many campaigns of the Department of Health during the time of Senator Juan Flavier as department secretary, and the senatorial candidacies of Sergio Osmeņa III and Marcelo Fernan.

Discover Paradise came into being out of the noble vision of its publisher, PidroCom main man Apo Hiking Society member Danny Javier. Javier, a renowned songwriter and social activist who now sits as a trustee of Home Development Mutual Fund (PAG-IBIG) gave birth to Discover Paradise with the objective of boosting the Philippine industry as well as serving the Filipino communities abroad. As an advocate of progress and nationalism, Javier envisions Discover Paradise to be not only a medium of communication but also an effective instrument for the economic growth of the country.

With its competent workforce, Discover Paradise keeps its promise to come up with more features that will not only capture our readers' taste but will also respond to their needs.
