first
issue
came
out
in
May
2004
under
the
management
of
Pidrocom.Japan,
a
publishing
arm
of
Pidro
Communications,
which
is a
pioneer
in
the
field
of
Public
Imaging
Technology.
PidroCom
was
behind
the
successes
of
the
many
campaigns
of
the
Department
of
Health
during
the
time
of
Senator
Juan
Flavier
as
department
secretary,
and
the
senatorial
candidacies
of
Sergio
Osmeņa
III
and
Marcelo
Fernan.
Discover
Paradise
came
into
being
out
of
the
noble
vision
of
its
publisher,
PidroCom
main
man
Apo
Hiking
Society
member
Danny
Javier.
Javier,
a
renowned
songwriter
and
social
activist
who
now
sits
as a
trustee
of
Home
Development
Mutual
Fund
(PAG-IBIG)
gave
birth
to
Discover
Paradise
with
the
objective
of
boosting
the
Philippine
industry
as
well
as
serving
the
Filipino
communities
abroad.
As
an
advocate
of
progress
and
nationalism,
Javier
envisions
Discover
Paradise
to
be
not
only
a
medium
of
communication
but

an

instrument

the
